PannionSeer As YomaBarr mentioned, this really isn't funeral doom at all, but despite having an identity crisis, it is a fantastic album. The vocalist is particularly incredible, belting out low roars and shrill, vicious shrieks in the same breath. This is difficult to categorize, but perhaps it's more akin to blackened death/doom rather than funeral? Favorite track: Esse.
Funeral Fog

Funeral Fog I didn't even listen, I only needed to read my great friend YomaBarr's review to buy. Now to listen. So, I'm listening now, very much worth the purchase. The mixing/mastering- magnificent! The vocals are full of furious power, the guitars & drums are equally beastly, just how I like it. This is further proof, anyone reading this if you see a YomaBarr review, it's a good idea to check the album out.

YomaBarr This left me blisters in my earholes and on my soul, in a good way. Each song on this jewel rules and production is some of the best I have heard of late. With this I don't need any more new stuff (today 😎).
Also, THIS IS NOT funeral doom. Unless something happened to the genre since I last checked.

about

Fordomth was formed in 2013.
Their new album “Is, Qui Mortem Audit” expands on the band’s distinctive Black / Funeral Doom root by incorporating the speed and rawness of the early Black Metal.

The album is the result of a conceptual and formal research about the nature of existence, the universe and the role of death.
This Opus came from the band’s will to go beyond the physical form in order to transcend to a state of deep meditation, in a quest leading to both enlightenment, eternal damnation and perpetual void.

This is a release that will let you gaze into the forbidden pages of existence and death itself, seizing a form of unspeakable knowledge.

“Titanically heavy and bone-chilling, dissonant and demented, vicious and imperious. It seems to encompass both paroxysms of madness and the calamity of utter hopelessness” (No Clean Singing)

“The album feels inevitable, creeping ever forward into your psyche, ready to establish dominance over your being” (Moshpit Nation)
